The Roadrunner Fund
What is it? The Roadrunner Fund is one of the PTA’s major annual fundraisers that provides critical educational programs and activities at Strandwood.
What are we asking you to do? The PTA urges all families to donate $270 per family per year. Want to donate more? That would be great! Your donation is tax deductible.
Why do we need donations? Schools are underfunded by the state. The Strandwood PTA works with the school to make sure the extra funds help provide an enhanced public educacation for all students.
The Lowdown Around Campus
Plan on volunteering in for school? You must be Finger-Printed and TB-Tested, on file with MDUSD to do so. Click here for MDUSD Volunteer forms.
Join our PTA for 2026/27 and make a difference! We rely upon all our amazing parents/caregivers to help make a Strandwood a safe, welcoming school, supportive to all students. For $11, be part of the largest children's advocacy group in the nation.
Contribute to our ROADRUNNER FUND. This helps provide programs, classroom assistants, technology, specialists and more for our students. Any amount of donation helps. In addition, find out if your company matches donations!
Shop for Strandwood!
Lunardis Market gives back 4% of all sales to schools who sign up for eScrip. To participate simple go to the eScrip site and sign up. You will choose Strandwood as the non-profit organization you would like to support. Then, every shopping trip, our school will get a 4% donation. Do you have grandparents that live nearby? Sign them up too! It is simple to do.
Lunardis is a great local market and we are grateful that it participates in this program that has been giving back to our school for decades. Our goal is to get more families signed for this program. Increasing particiaption is a simple way to raise more funds for our school without asking for more.
No matter how big or small, everyone can and will make a difference.
