Happy Spring, Roadrunners!!
Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. The Strandwood PTA is a group of active parents and teachers who work together, with support from our school and community, to sponsor and manage over 50 special programs and events. We are dedicated to improving and enriching the educational experience of every student here at Strandwood Elementary.
Here's the lowdown on what's Going on around campus:
FOURTH GRADE PARENTS, your donations for next fall’s Outdoor Ed experience is crucial for program to happen. Requested donation is $425, which covers 4 nights & 5 days of camp, meals, and bus transportation. Donations due by June 3rd (for camp in the fall 2019). Checks or credit cards accepted . Checks can be dropped off in the office. If there are too few donations from parents, program will be cancelled and any money collected will be returned.
Pay by credit card here: https://fiscal-mdusd.myschoolcentral.com
Parents will need to create a login with their student's ID number. Their student should know their ID# (as it is part of their computer login information). It is a 7 digit number and most of the 4th graders numbers will start with 504####.

Congratulations, Student Council! We raised over $15K at the lap-a-thon! Way to go, Ms. Guncheon and Mrs. Beck! Thank you parents!
A dollar a day ($180) per student is what we are asking our families to contribute to our help PTA provide all the programs, classroom assistants, technology, specialists and more for our students. Any amount of donation helps. Follow links to donate to FUND FOR EXCELLENCE. Find out if your company matches donations!
